"Vinci" typeface design
This typeface I designed was specifically for this project, designed around the concepts of golden ratio and the aesthetics of the sketch of the Vitruvian Man.
The typeface design is based on the Runalto font.
I proposed to make an intervention on it with the concepts of golden ratio and the aesthetics of the sketch of the Vitruvian Man, with the aim of merging these three elements.
I designed the “Vinci” typeface with rounded finishes and consistent ornaments that highlight the tangents of each letter.
The photo is by Harry Carr and I chose it because, for me, it represents Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man, and the nudity of the model is a reference to the state of the corpse in the novel.
