Tool to learn how to cook healthier

Healthier Cooking is a platform that helps people understand the benefits of products, how to combine them and what dishes will provide the body with the necessary nutrients. A database of useful recipes with instructions and composition for vitamins has been created for users. The platform will help people understand healthy eating.

My role: UX designer leading the app and responsive website design from conception to delivery.
Conducting interviews, paper, and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, iterating on designs, determining information architecture, and responsive design.
Problem: Most people confuse the concept of "healthy eating" with the concept of "diet", so they prefer not to delve into the benefits of products.

Solution: Develop a cross-platform that will improve education on eating habits and help people prepare easy healthy meals.
Target audience: People from 20 years old who work a lot and care about the quality of their food for various reasons.

WIREFRAMES
I did a quick idea generation exercise to figure out how to address the gaps identified in the competitive audit. I paid special attention to information on nutrients.
LOW SCREEN FLOW
For the first test, a low-fidelity prototype was created
INSIGHTS
Many users would like to generate a list of products needed for a recipe.
Some users thought that any recipe was good for them.
Using only the menu was not clear enough.
All users said they would use such an application.

HIGH-FIDELITY SCREEN FLOW
The high-fidelity prototype followed the same user flow as the low-fidelity prototype, including design changes made after the usability study.
RESPONSIVE DESIGNS
The designs for screen size variation included mobile, tablet, and desktop. I optimized the designs to fit the specific user needs of each device and screen size.
Users shared that the app gave them a lot of healthy food options and a lot of new information about the benefits of certain foods.

NEXT STEPS
Do research on how often people use the app.
Add more ability to add your own recipes.
Add the ability to share data with other healthy apps
