Playfair Display Lookbook

Playfair Display Lookbook
I took Playfair Display, a typeface that I admire, and made a short lookbook for it. It displays the different weights the typeface has to offer as well as glyphs and symbols. The typeface was made by Claus Eggers Sørenson.
"This typeface design lends itself to the period where broad nib quills were being replaced by pointed steel nibs in the late 18th century. Print letterforms of high contrast and delicate hairlines were made possible. Playfair Display takes influence from printer and typeface designer, John Baskerville, William Martin's typeface for the 'Boydell Shakespeare' (sic) edition, and from the 'Scotch Roman' designs that followed."
"Jinxed wizards pluck ivy from the big quilt"
"Where can I get this typeface? Playfair Display is published under the Open Font License 1.1, which means you are able to use it freely. Go to Google Webfonts to use Playfair Display as a webfont, or to download the fonts to your computer."
