In this video, a woman is undergoing an episode of dissociation, depersonalization and derealization while spending time in a nature center. The feelings and concepts explored within the realm of this disorder are mental dissociation, emotional blunting, extreme loneliness, detachment from reality, a blurred sense of identity, and amnesia. This woman’s intimate feelings, thoughts and visuals experienced when facing depersonalization-derealization disorder are explored through a dreamlike first-person perspective, as well as a detached third-person perspective.
