Down to Earth trasforms asteroid numerical data to beautiful visualisations.  It uses the location of the user and the open collaborative database freebase.com to find nearby iconic buildings. It compares them with asteroid's attributes like size, or distance form Earth to deliver meaningful visual data. Next, it gives the option to crash the asteroid to a selected place to get an idea of what the impact would be. This is a new way of perceiving space, bringing space data down to earth.
