i had the pleasure to work with ban.do as one of the illustrator to contribute on their annual planner. i designed and illustrated June 2024's month opener and also a set of stickers. the art director from ban.do gave me full freedom to interpret the keywords. i got this beautiful phrase: slowly and surely.
i initially drew the girl on a bicycle but apparently the other contributor had already drawn it so i have to change mine. i drew a girl spreading seeds and flowers while she is walking as a metaphor to always do good in life.
slowly and surely: growing and blooming gradually. like the flowers, and also the butterflies.
this set of stickers is based on the keywords: balance, joy, doing what feels right, enjoying the ride, nourishment, trusting yourself, resilience, making space, nature, being active, fun, reflection, growth, progress, sleep.
i am utterly grateful to do this project because it aligns with my heart and soul.
