In april of 2014 I wrote and illustrated my own short story for a contest. The story is about an old woman, named Madame Pip, who teaches at the world's only pigeon academy. At this school pigeons from all over the world come to learn how to become the best carrier pigeons.
Early sketches of Madame Pip and some sketches to practice drawing pigeons. My initial idea was to make Madame Pip look like some crazy pigeon lady who held hundreds of pigeons as pets. But eventually I liked the story of carrier pigeons better.
