Experiments in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
This work is part of a larger examination of how motion graphics can affect the viewers cognitive processes. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy to calm anxiety. In theory, the viewer is entranced into a meditative state by using their eyes to follow the serpentine motion of these animated GIFs.
