Brief
The purpose of this project is to design three different book covers based on a classical story of the student's choice. I chose "The Scarlet Letter" by Nathaniel Hawthorne.
The three designs I needed to make for this project was a Typographic cover, a Handmade cover, and a Designer's choice cover. Each cover's concept should reflect the themes of the story.

Final Thoughts:
I found this project incredibly fun and challenging. At first, I wasn't sure if I would be able to create a cover design that connects to what the story is about.
I was very drawn to this book since I've always heard about it but didn't get the chance to read it until recently and engaging with the story was an amazing experience that helped me gain a better understanding and direction of what I could do for the book covers.
My designs have more of a focus on the principal character of the book, Hester Prynne . I resonated a lot with her as she went through so many struggles. I did have a minimalist approach in order to hone in on what I wanted to communicate.
