In Japan, ◯◯san means Miss. or Mr.◯◯. oku-san means wife. Also, oku means "inside", the opposite of "outside". To me, a foreigner, this word is not much different from "Little Red Riding Hood," "Suzuki," "okonomiyaki," and so on. It's just a signal, but the funny thing is that you can connect the two words together when you remember the word "oku(inside)" and "oku-san(wife)". The process of doing this work was like writing poetry, I was salvaging words in the sea of language and linking them together.
