I have always loved doing little arts and crafts, experimenting with my art skills outside of just digital work. I had recently saw little peg people on Etsy and since I had a church Christmas party coming up, I thought it would be neat to make my own, except with angels. So I bought the little wooden pegs from Hobby Lobby and painted them using acrylic paint. I then hot glued wooden cross beads to make it appear as they were holding them. Then I also hot glued white colored rose petals to the backs together to appear as angel wings. They made the cutest little gifts as figurines. And I ended up making a ton of different style types for painted hair.
If I decide to quit digital work for a bit, I think I may try to make even more characters out of little peg people.
