PROJECT FEEDBACK
This project hasn’t been easy for me and has made me identify a weakness in my design skillset, which is decision-making when it comes to picking a design and following through with it. This is because I first decided to go with the bookend bridge that would hold stationary, and because I felt that it was too simple, I wanted to go all electric, not knowing that this would add value but also add constraints to me as the designer. My final design was aimed at selling the perception of modern and sports to people who are interested in sports cars. Choosing the materials for this product was the more difficult part because the rims are made of aluminum and stainless steel, and that had me thinking about going the sheet metal route or the steel tube route.
