Working with Elie Andersen, Mina Park, Iñigo Lopez Vasquez, Amrit Muzumder, and Alice Taranto, we were assigned to "create a spectacle." We arrived to the ideo of self spectacle, which inhabited two main points: being presented with yourself when you are not expecting it, and being presented with a view of yourself that you are not expecting/not familiar with. We created a small box with a lit for viewers to look into. Meanwhile, a member of our group secretly filmed them and a live feed was sent to the screen inside the box. Both the participant and the 'voyeur' moved around, creatin an experience in which the participant was confronted with themselves as a spectacle.
