SKETCHES
Each element in this design have first been hand drawn on paper.
The sketches were then duplicated and put together in Illustrator to create the repeat pattern.

VECTORS
The pattern was then digitally retraced in Adobe Fresco using the vector brushes.
Each element was drawn on a different layer to make it easier to move once exported to Illustrator.

COLORS
This pattern comes in an array of organic color schemes which enhances
the naturalism of the artist’s depiction of flowers and leaves.
First round of colors from which a refine selection was made.
REFINED SELECTION
From the first round of color palettes creation, a smaller refined selection is made.
To those colorways; a light texture is then applied in Photoshop to add softness to the design.

In recap: This design is composed of illustrative elements which were first hand drawn on paper. The sketch was then digitally retraced in Adobe Fresco using vector brushes. With the use of Adobe Illustrator the elements were re-positioned to create a seamless pattern. Finally, a light texture was applied in Photoshop to bring softness to the design.
Some smaller leaves were added after the majority of the design was created.
