OFFICIAL TSHIRT DESIGN
On November 2013, Pharrell Williams launched a contest to design a t-shirt inspired by his song Happy. The winner was going to be chosen from the 10 most voted designs. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it to the top ten but I was already happy to have participated. A week later Pharrell announced that besides the winner design, he had chosen mine as his favorite and later on that the design would be sold at his Billionaire Boys Club / Ice Cream Stores, I couldn’t believe it and to this day I’m still dancing with joy.
This is the design I submitted. The graphics respond to different scenes throughout the 24 hour video made for Happy. The main element are the clapping hands, essential part of the song and the video.
The proposal was picked by Pharrell as his favorite besides the official winner and later sold in his BBC and Icecream stores.
The design was also featured in Oprah Winfrey's show.
It's been an awesome ride since then, and I've been encouraged to keep on creating till the end of times!
