Final Reflection
My final reflection and last post of the series.
I believe this course was extremely important for my development as a designer. Knowing the proper techniques and theory about testing prototypes is something that should definitely be in every Designers basic skills repertoire. When it comes to the prototypes themselves sometimes I was struggling more because I did not know the proper way to make them (especially the high-fi prototype of travel app). This lack of knowledge was related more in my opinion to the fact that courses on making interfaces and how to make them well are scheduled after the BTP course. Still even though I struggled I did my best and learned a lot just through testing my prototypes on others and learning from their feedback. After all I believe that exactly that was the core purpose of this course. Additional new knowledge/ skill is using the Behance which also means stepping out of my comfort zone and learning a new professional medium. What I would like to work on in the future is to learn more techniques of testing that are even more advanced as well as learn how to schedule and conduct testing with users that not have a background in the UXD or other related fields.
