Tzeva Adom – Notes on the Gaza Strip border
The Middle East Conflict is one of the central territorial issues of our time, even after 65 years. In western media the conflict is only present when it escalates and becomes an “official” war. The violence on the Gaza Strip
border is just one example of the fight between Israelis and Palestinians. Southern Israeli cities are targets of missile attacks out of the Gaza Strip by militant Palestinians, while the Israeli Army frequently bombs this enclave and tries to bring down the Hamas government by blocking this strip of land.
A few days after the last war in November 2012 I decided the visit the area along the Gaza Strip border and visualized my research in a mobile exhibition.
The exhibition looks into the conflict and demonstrates geopolitical aspects, questioning the normalization of the status quo in the south of Israel and the militarization of Israeli society.
