Yeahnahnesia, The Temple of Frivolous Wishes

Fine Arts
Yeahnahnesia.
A island nation forgotten to time, culture spanning thousands of years, and the offering of a care free and balanced way of life. This is Yeahnahnesia, an exhibition held at the Art Gallery of Western Australia in 2023 seeing the largest showing to date from Yok & Sheryo and the incredible tropical island. A place of wonder, pleasure and possibility Yeahnahnesia was born of the creative endeavours and adventurous spirits of Yok & Sheryo. Their formation of a world where relaxation is central to existence is reflective of the balance they seek and enact in their own lives.
Take a peep below for some images of "The Temple of Frivolous Wishes"
Have a look at this one, we created a fun mockumentary  that explains the thinking behind the lost island and the significance of the temple. Created with Vam Media and director Luna Laure.
We created a documentation of all the weird and wonderful flora, fauna, temples, totems and talismans on the Island of Yeahnahnesia, all neatly packed in the style of a scientific journal. If your curious to find out more about this lost island you can purchase the book here. Get the book here.
