Wayfinding system
for The Park Cracow office complex in Poland
The Park Krakow is an A-class office complex located in Krakow's Podgórze district. The architectural design was prepared by the APA Wojciechowski studio. The buildings and space of this campus are characterized by timeless architecture and a unique green arrangement. The project provides a high standard of finishing, and the whole project has an industrial, minimalist character.
The wayfinding system and additional elements of the signage system directly relate to the interior design of the building. Due to the variety of materials used in the finishing of the offices and the industrial atmosphere of the investment, we proposed a monochromatic black and white color scheme. In the interiors of the office buildings there are black finishing elements, in addition there are natural brick walls, so such a narrowed color scheme was a must. Thanks to it, important information becomes legible on a variety of wall colors. Black and white elements also harmonize both the interior of the buildings and the external environment.
Minimalist information carriers were complemented by simple linear patterns. Their presence is evident in the design and graphic design of the wayfinding system. The entire system is complemented by the typeface Archia Bold (from the Spanish Atipo studio) and a small set of icons, which were designed to relate to the character of typography
