LOST IN LIGHT AND SNOW — Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, Iceland
There is something truly enchanting about minimalist winter landscapes in Iceland after a heavy snow shower. The world becomes quiet and the soft light creates an otherworldly glow, with the snow almost appearing like sand. The landscape itself takes on a monochromatic palette and it can become difficult to distinguish where the landscape ends and the sky begins. The ever-present power lines further enhance the strong contrast between the organic and the inorganic through their graphic effect.
