Goal:

Create an animation using a pen/graphite drawing of my work.

Adobe Flash CS6

Method:

Using an Epson scanner, I will scan the drawing at a 1 to 1 ratio; 300 pixels per inch.  I will then be import the file into Adobe Photoshop, edit and optimize the image followed by an import into Adobe Flash to create animation. In addition I plan to use Audacity software to create audio and include it in the animation.  The ending result would be imported into Vimeo/YouTube and blog to present work.

Summary

    An animation is the use of rapid static images that produce the illusion of motion which challenges the viewers’ aesthetic experience. “Trio”, is a project that I feel will have an effect on a broad demographic audience.  Using a drawing consisting of a trio of bridges I would like to explore the essence of time and movement, guiding the viewer’s aesthetic experience throughout the animation.
