Relief relief printing

The relief of relief printing
After coming back from my exchange to a print-less program, I realized I need to take matters into my own hands (literally) and started printing at home.
These are two (but sort of three) lino plates I carved at home, both homage to the Lithuanian language, relishing in it again, I suppose.
The first is the last verse of a poem by Algimantas Baltakis.
Rough translation: "You'll fly back a bird, when you'll missing (it/me/something). The road is tired, let it rest..."
The second is a text frame from an old Lithuanian movie "The Devil's Bride", dir. Arūnas Žebriūnas, 1972.
Rough translation: "Once, the angels sinned before God, and then it snowed devils from the sky for three days. The lakes were full of devils, and the ones that got onto the earth, got into the people... From Lithuanian proverbs"
