Celebrating a journey through the world! I had the privilege of creating 12 unique maps for a dear friend, charting her life across different cities. Each map showcases the iconic landmarks of each place, as well as personal details like old homes. These maps now adorn her staircase.

Here are nine of the twelve cities featured on the huge staircase map project. Keeping each map distinct yet cohesive was a top priority for me. To achieve this I established a universal color scheme and gave each city a unique primary color.  

Simplifying complex structure into their basic forms is so fascinating to me. Despite the intricate details of Indian temples and neighborhoods, they can be captured in just a few rectangles. If you combine enough of these simple objects together, you can build a pretty complex map. So satisfying!
