It Started With a Doodle......(literally)
In September of 2018, while waiting for a client, I was doodling.....as I usually do, with a pen on paper. I drew a series of ellipses of different proportions around each other and of course put an eyeball in the middle. While doing the doodle, I thought it might be interesting to try this concept in my DataCad Architectural drafting program. Then I wanted to add colors and so I used Photoshop. A year later I had about 470 images now mostly in circles....a series. I decided to turn them into an animated silent movie and improvise live on piano while the movie played. I found a venue and with assistance from friends was able to carry this project live just before Covid hit our country.
After the show I did another 250 or so circle images in the drafting program and started using Adobe Illustrator for color and modifications. In 2021 I started creating art directly in Adobe Illustrator also Adobe Animate ....learning more each day....and having fun along the way.
