Projeto de redesign da logo do Governo de Pernambuco 2023| Mais forte e mais humano!

Muitos sabem que Pernambuco teve sua mudança de governo em 2022, com a eleição da 1° mulher a
governar Pernambuco, e com 16 anos do mesmo governo, tivemos a mesma identidade visual durante 8 anos, então tomei a liberdade de fazer um redesign da marca do governo do estado e comecei optando pela retirada do brasão de Pernambuco de sua marca, já que ele está na marca desde 2014 e substituí-la pela silhueta do estado, na qual foi baseada em uma abordagem mais moderna e simplificada.

Many know that Pernambuco had a change of government in 2022, with the election of the 1st woman to govern Pernambuco, and with 16 years of the same government, and of those 16 years, we had the same visual identity during 8 years of the former administration. So, I made the decision to do a redesign and started by opting for the removal of the Pernambuco coat of arms from its brand, since it has been in the brand since 2014, and replacing it with the silhouette of the state, which was based on a more modern and simplified approach.

A nova identidade visual tem como objetivo transmitir uma imagem mais dinâmica e contemporânea do estado,
adequada à era digital em que vivemos. A silhueta do estado de Pernambuco representa um novo começo, um novo horizonte, e um novo governo a frente do estado e uma visão mais clara para o futuro. Além disso, a silhueta do estado é mais facilmente identificável e memorável do que o Brasão de Pernambuco, que é um símbolo mais complexo e difícil de ser reproduzido em diferentes meios e tamanhos.

The new visual identity aims to convey a more dynamic and contemporary image of the state, suitable for the digital age in which we live. The silhouette of the state of Pernambuco represents a new beginning, a new horizon, and a new government leading the state and a clearer vision for the future. In addition, the state silhouette is more easily identifiable and memorable than the Pernambuco coat of arms, which is a more complex symbol and difficult to reproduce in different media and sizes.

Um dos maiores desafios foi criar um novo design para o uniforme da rede estadual de ensino de Pernambuco, Brasil. Em pouco tempo, o uniforme viralizou no Tiktok, e mudar algo que já existe há muito tempo e que as pessoas gostam é muito complicado. Por isso achei melhor não mudar muito, então fiz alguns ajustes e ficou bem parecido com o antigo uniforme!

One of the biggest challenges was creating a new design for the uniform of the state education system in Pernambuco, Brazil. In a short period of time, the uniform became viral on Tiktok, and changing something that has been around for a long time and that people like is very complicated. That's why I thought it would be better not to change it too much, so I made some adjustments and it closely resembles the old uniform!

And that's it for now, it was a lot of work because I put a lot of thought into it and obviously had the help of other designers to develop this "brand proposal" for the Government of the State of Pernambuco - Brazil.
