I used the series “In the American West” from photographer Richard Avedon to help inspire my set of photographs. I feel that my final set achieved my initial aim and that they could be linked back to Richard Avedon as they compose of monotone black and white photos which represent truthfulness and work together as a set as they each tell a narrative of their own.
