"Diamond Tooling" Packaging design

PROJECT TASK/CHALLENGE:
The task is to create a packaging design for Diaflex's Thin Turbo Mesh Blade, which is a diamond cutting blade, for a packaging contest on a design platform. The challenge is to design a 2-sided custom packaging that is visually appealing and unique, while also showcasing the product and providing space for necessary information such as UPC codes and product details. The preferred colors for the design are black, white, and gold, with a luxury, feel that stands out in the market.

We started by researching the market for Diamond-cutting blades and analyzing the competitors' packaging designs to identify potential opportunities for differentiation. We then created several initial design concepts that emphasized the product's benefits and unique selling points, while also adhering to the client's preferred color scheme and luxury feel. We incorporated gradients and highlights of gold to make the Diaflex brand pop and stand out on the shelves.
