Personal Branding
As soon as Junior year ended, I took the free time to finally create branding for myself -- all of which initially started with sketches on a piece of paper.

There were three things I considered making the logo: 1.) I knew I wanted a monogram; 2.) I didn't want it to look too edgy and geometric; and 3.) I wanted the monogram to be simple and be easily made into a seamless pattern. I ended up with this ribbon-like monogram of my initials: M (as seen on the dark parts) and E(as seen on the lighter ones).
The process of making the logo. I sketched it out on paper, then on Photoshop, traced it, and fixed it up.
The process. I wanted the business card to have a pattern of the monogram.
I decided to use the color scheme I've been using for myself prior to branding this (as seen on my blog); it mostly consists of blacks, a shade of blue, and gold. I decided to use Futura Medium as the type because I've always loved how the letter 'm' looks. I then made a layout of it as a pattern and several templates for a letterhead, an envelope, business cards, and stickers.
My business card with three alternate covers (illustrations are all mine) and a couple of stickers.
