U & I Taste Developers - A Wix Website with animation for Spices Products Business - Case Study
About
U & I Taste Developers is a spices manufacturer company and was found in 2019 by Malik Faisal in Lahore, Pakistan. The business provides spices & seasonings, taste enhancers, dehydrated vegetable powders and anti-caking agents to their customers at affordable prices while maintaining their high quality standards.
The Challenge
As a startup business, U & I Taste Developers needed a responsive and visually appealing website for their business that could help them gain online exposure and to reach their target audience. They also needed a new logo that fits their brand and what they do.
The goal was to build a new animated website with vibrant color scheme and images that creatively reflects what they do while also maintaining a clean and minimal look with optimized UI/UX on both browser and mobile layout and define brand voice.
My Approach
To overcome this challenge, I organize my thoughts and key points together mostly on paper to have a bigger picture of the project. This helps me come up with potential new directions and understand what the client's goals are and what they're trying to achieve.
The brand's voice is friendly, creative, formal, clear and concise. This will serve as our complete guide for the design.
The more you know about the business, the better. So I do my research on the company and their targeted audience. Competitive research is also important to know what's working for them and what can set us apart. After that, I prepare a mood board to decide a visual preference with my client before starting to work on my concept ideas.
Results
The new fully animated website is built using Wix and has a modern, vibrant and clean look in both browser & mobile layouts to match the new logo, design language, product visuals and brand voice. As the main driver behind this project, I had the opportunity to wear many hats and cover all aspects of UX writing, project management, UI/UX design, web design and graphic design and it required a lot of strength and creativity to achieve the desired results. As well as gain an appreciation for what it takes to push a project across the finish line.
