    Branding system for a desert hotel.
School project / Flint & Steel Hotel
In a group of 4, you have a choice to rebrand an existing company or to create your own. Perform detailed research on your field and audience, and create a realistic marketing strategy. Approach this problem as though you are a real business. After developing your company's structure, outline and create various touchpoints that support your marketing strategy.
We chose to create and brand a fictional boutique hotel in the Joshua Tree desert. We liked the idea of developing a modern, fun and trendy hotel that goes against the grain of the standard, commercial type  hotel. In addition to being a hotel, we decided that it would be an establishment that facilitated outside adventures to encourage people to explore the Joshua tree area, and promote appreciation for nature. This includes, desert camping, stargazing, mountain climbing, ecosystem tours as well as mountain biking.
After very thorough research, Flint & Steel was born.
