Clarity is about the pressures of being a teenager in today's society. We live in a world where growing up and trying to understand the person you are or want to become seems impossible when there are a thousands stereotypes of teens going against you. This piece is based on personal experiences and experiences told to me by friends. We were told to write a short story and develop lyrics from there. This allowed me to really open up and use the most genuine thoughts as possible. I want others, not only teenagers, to understand that feeling of pressured to decide who you are and stick to that for the rest of your life is false. People are constantly evolving and changing, and its okay as long as your morals are straight. Sometimes you'll feel like you've lost yourself, but sometimes it is necessary to step back and find who you want to be on your own terms.

I was born and currently reside in Brooklyn, NY. My top two interests are music and photography. I am inspired by anything, even things I do not like help me think about how I can recreate those things to my liking. If I had to choose a musician that inspires me I would go with Pharrell Williams because he's able to write and produce over multiple genres, allowing him to spread himself to a wider audience.
