ECO-HOTEL CARBON NEUTRAL DESIGN 2006
2119 Center St. Berkeley, California USA.
We currently live in a world that uses massive amounts of energy. A building is the cause of 40% of pollution waste. The building production causes harmful side effects such as climate changes, overproduction of CO², etc. Architecture currently is in a reactive stage of trying to do its part to decrease energy consumption. If we continue to live in a non-sustainable manner and the new energy sources are not applied now, architecture should take a proactive role in creating environments and habitats that may affect things beyond the traditional limits of architecture.
