Tawasul is an Arabic typeface inspired by ِEgyptian folkloric arts. The Letterforms were derived from Naskh style, with the effect of penmanship. The font is developed for design projects which require a spontaneous and unprompted impressions.
Inspiration & Concept
The concept came from visual research on Arabic folklore. The unskilfully written texts and the uncoordinated writing styles on things like pilgrimage paintings and old Arabic manuscripts inspired me to develop this typeface which somehow simulates those handwriting styles.
Tawasul supports Persian language.
