The concept of this project was to make a photo realistic time piece from my one of my favorite watch companies. The objective was to share the importance of photo realism to those who enjoy a nice wrist watch and are also fans of skateboarding. 

During the sketching process, I was stumped a couple times because after I drew the a quick draft of the watch, I didn't know what else to draw. I then thought of what the more difficult things might be to make, so I broke those out into shapes with the goal to simplify the specs I would need to take.

I received very helpful feedback like staying away from sharp edges. A lot of my shapes were bold and while it looked good in the program, its not how it would look in real life. I used the gaussian blur effect tool to give the edges of my highlights soft edges. Another big help was not not going straight to black, grey or white when using highlights. I was able to incorporate saturation to give the shadows and highlights a more natural look.
