Police Hour is a Crime & Policing Media website.
They asked for something modern, clean, creative and also for it to represent what they do in some way. So I came up with an 'Hourglass' as the symbol to fit around the text. This symbol has many meanings behind it, the fact it represents a Police Siren, (from above), the colours are similar to what a Police Siren / Police Force would be and of course the hourglass shape. Also the font 'POLICE' is custom designed to be similar to the UK Police Force, and the 'HOUR', which is a much thinner font was to represent the media side of the company.
