Case 1011 is a short comic, an exercise created with the intent of developing my narrative skills and creating visually coherent characters.
The story follows Tatum, a young detective with a speech impairment that only allows him to ask questions on what seems like the beginning of just another day of work, that changes when as soon as he steps into the department he's immediatly ordered to take a fresh case that everyone avoids. He quickly realises the avoidance is due to the partner he'll get.
Characters

Tatum: a genious young detective with an unknown background, brought to the force by comissioner Calsie. Tatum has developed a bad reputation in the department due to his ever curious nature and speech impairment that only allows him to speak in the form of questions, this leads everyone around him to exhaustion.
Comissioner Calsie: a rough and serious woman. She's has been in the force from a very early age and she worked hard to climb the ranks. Under her though personality she deeply cares about everyone in the department, even if that's not reciprocated sometimes.
Clum: a middle aged detective that has a bad reputation in the department due to his unmatched overconfidence and lack of skill. In his entire career he has been partnered with nearly all the department's detectives but all of them inevitably asked to change partners due to his lack of competence. This led him on a downwards spiral trying to desperatly prove himself and becoming more and more reckless in the process.
