JHE Business Card Mockup Style Guide

Designing a business card that included my initials began with creating many concept sketches. Using a variety of twelve typefaces including serif and sans serif, I explored the possibilities that would convey my personality and skill set while also keeping it simple and clean. 

Once I had narrowed my selection of sketches to a small sampling, I began the digital renderings and refining using Adobe Illustrator software. After many revisions and following suggestions and guidance from a peer group and instructor recommendations, I selected my final design. Adding a rich deep red to convey a bold yet professional look and creating a style guide using the Pantone spot colors, my business card design was complete. Using Adobe Photoshop I created the business card mockup seen above.
