Dyptych: “Ad Infinitum”
Mixed media (pencil, ecoline, ink, pastels), 2 x 100 cm X 70 cm
For many years, my drawing work has focused on researching and trying to show the beauty of the human body. Drawing from a model has become an inspiration and a starting point for an artistic search in a relationship between man and the space that surrounds him. Their penetration, boundaries, mutual influence. With time, under the influence of the eastern philosophy and meditation, I delved into the theory of the energy of the world that coexists in the macro and microcosm, it permeates various forms of existence, giving them shape and meaning. This resulted in a series of drawings using the language of abstraction, showing the energy that surrounds us and connects man with the cosmos. In the drawing entitled “Ad infinitum” those searching directions came together and a synergy was created. The human element has become an integral and coherent  part of the abstract universe and the combined effect of their interaction has become greater than the effects of their separate actions. Thanks to the energy of the cosmos, man and the world around him have created the unity that we strive for infinity.
