500 Hour Multi-Style Yoga TTC: -
Hatha Yoga- Hatha yoga, where "Ha" stands for the Sun and "tha" for the Moon, is the earliest type of yoga. Hatha refers to the use of the sun and moon energy in one's body to attain optimum physical wellness. It isn't only a means of being healthy; it's also a comprehensive means of gaining total mastery over your body and mind to achieve whatever you desire in life. There are several significant positions that will be covered in the 500-hour YTTC's Hatha Yoga course, including Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), Vrikshasana (Tree Pose), Trikonasana (Triangle Pose), Naukasana (Boat Pose), Balasana (Child Pose), Dhanurasana (Bow Pose), Virbhadrasana (Warrior 1 & 2 poses), Gomukhasana (Cow pose), Sarvangasana (Shoulder stand pose) & Paschimottanasana (Seated forward bend pose).
Ashtanga Yoga – Ashtanga Yoga is the practise of all eight of the body's limbs or sections in unison, or in one full cycle. With six series, or sets of postures, Ashtanga is a vigorous form of Hatha yoga that emphasises the breath and one's own inner force. It emphasises mental clarity as well. Some of the poses taught in Ashtanga Yoga training under the 500 hour YTTC include Padmasana (Lotus pose), Tadasana (Full Body Pose), Halasana (Plough Pose), Karnapidasana (Ear Pressure Pose), Urdhva Padmasana (Upward Lotus Pose), Pindasana (Embroyo Pose in Shoulder Stand), Matsyasana (Fish Pose with Lotus Variation), Uttanasana (Raised Legs pose), Uthita Hasta Padangusthasana (Hand to big toe pose) & Prasarita Padottanasana (Wide Legged forward bend pose).
Vinyasa Yoga- A modern form of yoga known as vinyasa or vinyasa flow combines several specific positions from Hatha and Ashtanga in a continuous manner in which the practitioner flows or does not stop between poses. Vinyasa is a synonym for Hatha's opposite. In contrast to other forms of yoga, Vinyasa yoga emphasises sun salutations. Some significant postures within Vinyasa Yoga of the 500-hour YTTC include Cat pose, Upward Dog stance, Downward Dog pose, Plank pose, Low Plank pose, Low Lung pose, Hamstring stretch of Child pose, Figure 4 stretch pose, Supine single leg pose, and Crescent lung pose.
Yin Yoga- Slow-paced yoga called Yin Yoga is practised as a series of Taoist-based techniques. Longer periods of time are spent practising its postures, and it focuses on allowing the body's "Qi" (energy) to flow freely. Stretching uses energy to assist break up obstructions in our blood, oxygen, and sound flow. Some significant postures taught in Yin Yoga training under the 500-hour YTTC include the supported child's pose, broken wing stance, butterfly pose, pigeon pose, supported fish pose, banana pose, eagle pose, reclined eagle spine pose, twisted dragon pose, and shoelace pose.
Meditation- This 500-hour YTTC includes a significant amount of mantra-chanting and meditation to increase spiritual awareness and connectedness. These practises also aid in reducing stress and anxiety, sharpening attention, and enhancing mental health. This multi-style yoga course will cover two different styles of meditation. The other is silent meditation, which is focused on focusing on one specific subject in the practitioner's mind while letting go of other thoughts. One is based on reciting mantras repeatedly. Additionally, the practitioners will receive individualised attention with question-and-answer sessions where they may ask questions and obtain answers. Additionally, they will receive thorough notes and access to yoga and meditation materials so they may study everything possible, receive their credentials, and resume their lives as qualified yoga teachers.
Anatomy, Physiology, Philosophy & Shatkarma - The study of the visible, measurably, and weighing parts of the human body is known as anatomy. The study of physiology focuses on how the body's physical and chemical processes interact to support a variety of bodily activities. While philosophy adopts a yogic way of life and thinks appropriately. It is more about how yoga students behave, think, and act during the course, what they learn from it, and how they will apply it to their own well-being as well as the wellbeing of others. It also concerns how they would incorporate and carry on their yoga practise after finishing their training. The main goal of satkarma is to cleanse the body and the consciousness. Jal neti and Vayu neti, which both cleanse and improve blood and oxygen circulation throughout the body, are remedies for this.
