HAHAHA c is the cement version of  hahaha cb which can be both a simple vase or a decorative feature. It is distinguished by its essential lines which are combine with bright andf cheerful colours. It is available with the inside painted in four different colours: Yellow, magenta, orange or sky-blue.

HAHAHA series

The project is based on the simple idea of taking a subject (in this case a cylinder) and seeing what happens when it meets exact copies of itself, while maintaing the idea that, when talking about geometric shapes, meeting and intersection are almost the same thing. With the simple premise in mind that we like the work of the Chinese artist Yue Minjun, we decided to plan our object accordingly. During the planning phase we became aware that the layout of the spaces was leading us toward a something that seemed like a giant, laughing mouth and so the name of our object was taken directly from this.

The Hahaha Vase is made using either cardboard or cement, with the latter being available in two different sizes. The two cement versions are made by pouring high-strength cement into silicone moulds. Once it has hardened, it is removed from the mould and hand-painted.

The cardboard version is made using special tubes made out of recycled cardboard. The concept of using recycled materials comes from the basic principle of using what we already have in other, innovative ways in order to re-evaluate the worth of these things. This gave us the idea that if this principle is valid for objects, why can it not also be valid for humans? Therefore, we decided not to use machines to 'perfect' our products but instead are relying on a small group of artisans who have taken on the challenge of making the vases completely by hand, without any heavy duty machinery.

These products, even if they are beautifully made, all have small differences between them, showing and preserving the identity and mood of the creator at that particular time.
