This spaceship is one of my most elaborate projects so far. In 2019, I made a scene on the planetary surface of Trappist-E. My goal now was to develop the spaceship, which made this journey possible. I did a lot of research to make it as scientifically accurate as possible. But in the end it remains art, with inaccuracies here and there (especially fuel is a topic on its own).

The ship is designed for a crew of 20-24 people. The overall length is 227m and the front plate has a width of 79.5m. It has two shuttles and three Orion modules for landing and transport. Propulsion is by magnetized target fusion. The front shield is mainly used for aerobraking manoeuvres.

Trappist-1 is a red dwarf 40 light years from Earth. The star has seven planets the size of Earth orbiting it at relatively close range. Trappist-E lies in an area that could support life and is therefore a good target.

The project will be further expanded in the future. Currently, I already have ideas for Balios-B and new missions. The model was created in Blender and the images were then staged in Photoshop.
