This intimate, profound and at the same time as lyrical outburst expressed with rare eloquence a mood motivated by three facts: First, the watches (...) indicated eight thirty in the morning, according to the calendars indicated Monday; and third (...), Miguel was within a metro carriage crammed with people. "


"Num repente filosófico e poético, Miguel declarou a si mesmo, em silêncio: O mundo é um penico e mais nada. Um penico mal-cheiroso.
Este desabafo íntimo, tão profundo e simultaneamente tão lírico, expressava com rara eloquência um estado de espírito motivado por três factos: primeiro, os relógios (...) indicavam as oito horas e meia da manhã, segundo, os calendários indicavam a segunda-feira; e terceiro (...), Miguel encontrava-se dentro de uma carruagem de metropolitano atulhada de gente."
