I try to do at least one project a year for my favourite charity: We women foundation. The foundation is dedicated to empowering the strong women from the marginalized communities of Burma by providing professional and educational opportunities. The We women foundation builds capacity so that women are enabled to make and influence policy decisions which are too often made by outsiders.
In 2012 I helped in the organisation of an Art Auction in amsterdam. In collaboration with another graphic designer (No Stresz) we made catalogues, flyers and other items for the auction. We also helped a lot in the organisation of the auction itself, for example finding sponsors, a location, an auctioneer etc. Lots of hard work, but it paid off!
