“A Better Salad”, the multi-platform campaign presenting premium chilled ingredients with “undeniable appetite appeal that looks as deliciously fresh as Marie’s Dressing tastes” (HW&H). TJ used photography, film and post production to deliver the multiple print and rich media requirements, plus shot a great film of the shoot in action.
TJ produced the two day photo and film shoot for Marie’s Dressing Range, from sourcing crates and props from around the country to capturing the hero product and farm-style environment. Not forgetting the muscle-man farmer. We then integrated the photography and film with our retouched backplates, stock footage and creative post-production to deliver an authentic feel.
Our creative’s worked closely with HWH and the client to evolve the concept through the pre-production stages, looking to maximise the overall creative message. As always, planning was key to achieving the seamless end result across the different medias. Pre-vis played a big part during pre-production and ensured we knew exactly what was required once we got on set.
The agency provided us with a guide of exactly which vegetable ingredients were to go alongside each of the dressings and we then had one week to source the props listed and plan a two day shoot. TJ managed the whole shoot production which was a 2-day photo and film shoot. As the agency are based in the US, 8 hours behind London, we made sure they were constantly aware of our progress and worked around the timezones to make for the most efficient feedback. Selects and rough comps were sent over to them so that they could easily review work and we had the opportunity to adapt the art direction during the shoot.
We combined the photography with creative post-production back in the studio, integrating the photography and film with our own retouched backplates, stock footage from our vast library and creative post-production to provide the agency with authentic looking imagery suiting the exact brand colours for Marie's cross-platform campaign.
We delievered 3 hero prints and 3 different format online banner ads each with text adaptations, all within schedule and surpassed both the agency and clients expectations. HWH were a joy to work with and were extremely happy with the production.
