“The history of Mugnano salami starts from far away. Its processing for us women of Mugnano has always had a particular ritual. Yes, because it was mainly us who first took care of the care of the pig and its daily diet made up of abundant mash and generous rations of acorns and then the bagging of salami. We women. Friends, colleagues, workers. We certainly worked, but that table where we dealt with the meat was also an opportunity to meet to sing, pass on the uses and customs of our homes and let's face it all, to chat. Yes, we worked, but we were happy".
