This is a Network ID concept I created for SyFy as part of my Multiplatform Media Brand Packaging MOME 408 class at SCAD taught by Austin Shaw. In this particular instance , I spent considerable time developing the visual style through design frames before jumping into animation within AE. The concept of this piece is rooted in the oldschool SyFy aesthetic while still carrying the emotion of the recent rebrand— along the lines of a scientific dissection of various organic elements framed by technical readouts & overlays as each frame is ramped through time.
