H.G. Wells Book Covers
College Project: Photoshop and Illustrator
College Project: Photoshop and Illustrator
This was one of my projects for my Graphic Design II class in college: we had to pick three titles from the inspiring author, H.G. Wells, and create three book covers with free reign that had to parallel with one another in a certain way.
There were many ideas that I had before I started this project, but since I had a time limit, a lot of them were abandoned since they would take too long. So, in the end, I decided to use typography and photography together to create my covers. A photo-shoot of my sister plus a bold sleek font with three individual colors helped create these pieces.
In the end, I really like these covers; they came out really nicely. I might redo this project with vector instead of photography some other time.
