I teach two media arts classes a year, and although I am enthusiastic about the opportunities students have to learn the fundamentals of filmmaking, design, photography, and illustration, it is even more important to me that they develop character traits, skills, and ways of looking at the world that will be relevant to their ability to become a contributing, healthy, unique human being in their interactions with others and the world. This is a manifesto of sorts I banged out last year.
Happy day, all!
