As part of my assignment for fashion visualisation I have been studying the work of Nikki Farquharson and have designed my own illustrations in the style of her work. this image was created through the use of pencils and water colouring pencils over my A4 layout pad, I have also used fine line pens to highlight my flat drawing. in the style of her work I have created an abstract coloured bckground to enhance the appearance of the centered mirrored image. I have scanned this image into pixlr to add different adjustments and filters.
I began editing and transforming my work through the use of Pixlr, firstly sharpening the imaging and cropping the corners as they appeared untidy in the original image.
once I had scanned the image into Pixlr, I have slected the colour balance in adjustments, to create a warm glow to the image and highlight the coloured background some more.
Through experimenting with Pixlr, I had selected the adjustments for curved balance, through this technique I had enhanced the colouring in the image drastically and recieved this outcome. This effect appears to have blended through the background and the mirrored sillhouette, the outcome from this technique has created a radical glow.
For this final image I have adjusted the colour, hue and saturation levels and the colouring of the overall image changed to this style of purple. I was self-satisfied with the outcome of these adjustments as I have been experimenting with my clothing range for womens and childrens wear with this choice of colour, i have decided to save this as a final piece as it connects to my previous range of clothing and styles.
