Since my departure from college I've been honing my digital painting skills and trying to further my career as a visual development artist. Since I had little insturction in this area at school I decided to find my own path for learning this skill. Though something I found that intrigued me was finding Sparth's 30 minute paintings that he would post on his social feed. And while they might not be "finished" paintings they had a full composition and wonderful color palette.
So taking a note from Sparth, I decided to limit myself to 60 minutes for an environment painting. I time myself not for the sake of speed, but to force myself to finish my composition before starting on details. I do these paintings to work on composition, color, perspective, and brush techniques. In no way would I consider these completed, though I will take some to completion.
